1114 South St. Mary's 1114 South St. Mary's is the renovation and re-positioning of a 1940's automotive facility that had been occupied by a social service agency of Bexar County for over 10 years. Located in a crucial area of the Southtown Urban Mainstreet Corridor, the building completed renovation in 2003 and has since been consistently 100% leased with tenants such as Poteet Architects, a recognized leader in San Antonio urban design, The Bower Art Space, Robot Creative and Art Space, and other design related firms. 1114 is also home to the San Antonio Shambhala Center, the only center of its kind in South Texas for Buddhist studies and meditation. The project spurred interest in an area that had historically remained just outside the path of business and development activity in the Southtown area. |
